EKOPROFLEX E20-50 is a two-component polyurethane system (PU or PUR), which is used for the production of flexible, moulded foam. It is distinguished by increased strength parameters. This system in foamed form can be used for the production of seat components with densities in the range from 80 to 120 kg / m3.
The EKOPROFLEX E20-50 system consists of two components – component A called EKOPROFLEX E20-50 and component B called EKOPROMER I30. The first component is a polyol mixture in the form of an oily white liquid. The other one is a mixture of aromatic polyisocyanates (mainly diphenylmethane diisocyanate), in the form of a honey-brown liquid. Despite the high viscosity, both system components contain no suspensions.
The EKOPROFLEX E20-50 system is so versatile that it can be processed both by low and high pressure foaming machines. The key in the processing is the fact that the moulded flexible foam obtains its full mechanical properties after the aging process lasting about 24 hours.
An important advantage of the EKOPROFLEX E20-50 system is that it does not contain foaming agents that significantly deplete the ozone layer. This is in accordance with the European Union regulations on the circulation and use of controlled substances in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1005/2009 of 16 September 2009. In addition, the product has a Hygienic Certificate of the National Institute of Hygiene (PZH), which guarantees that the product, when used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, does not adversely affect health and the environment.
Main application advantages of the product:
relatively fast and efficient manufacture of products based on flexible foam resistant to possible mechanical damage,
manufacture of products based on moulded flexible foam using low and high pressure machines,
production of flexible foam products for various industries,
production of flexible foam adapted to the individual requirements of the manufacturer,
the possibility of producing seat elements based on polyurethane material with densities in the range of 80 to 120 kg / m3.
