Description

Rokopol M5020 is a polyether polyol produced in KOH technology. The product is in the form of a homogeneous, clear liquid. It contains antioxidants (excluding BHT) and is characterized by high purity and low emission. The product has a hydroxyl value at 25 ° C in the range of 33-38 mg KOH / g and has a dynamic viscosity of 700 -1000 mPas.

Rokopol M5020 can be used for the production of highly flexible polyurethane foams using a continuous type system (slabstock) or batch production and for the production of moulded foams. With the use of M5020 polyol, reactive polymer polyols and appropriately selected additives (catalysts, silicones, foaming agents) it is possible to produce blocks of highly flexible foam with a rectangular cross-section and height up to 100cm. Thanks to its excellent parameters, the product can be widely used in the furniture industry for the production of mattresses and upholstered furniture.

The main application advantages of Rokopol M5020:

  • the possibility of producing foams with densities from 25 to 80 kg / m3, hardness from 2-5kPa and flexibility up to 55%;
  • application of the product enables production of foam with a tensile strength of over 60 kPa and an elongation at break of up to 80%;
  • the possibility of using a polyol with reactive polymer polyols in order to increase the hardness of foam, reduce the effect of trapezoidal blocks and increase the height of blocks;
  • high comfort factor – over 2.6;

The most common applications of Rokopol M5020:

  •  production of flexible foams and HR (High Resilience) foams;
  • used in the furniture industry for the production of mattresses, pillows;
  • used in the production of flame-retarding foams;
