Crossin® Wall Eco is a highly innovative two-component spray polyurethane system used for the production of closed-cell rigid foam with self-extinguishing properties. The system consists of the polyol part (component A) and the isocyanate part (component B). Each of the ingredients is a viscous liquid and has different parameters. Component A is dark, while component B has a brown colour. Both components are free of solid suspension. In addition, the system is distinguished by a reduced emission of volatile organic compounds (VOC), as it does not contain foaming agents that significantly deplete the ozone layer - according to European Union regulations, Regulation (EC) No. 1005/2009 of 16.IX.2009.
The system is based on a new generation foaming agent, thanks to which the insulation has one of the lowest coefficients of thermal conductivity. As a result of the combination and thorough mixing of both components, rigid (hard) foam is obtained. The system should be processed only with professional high-pressure foaming units equipped with a foaming head in accordance with all processing conditions. This product is a unique system designed for the production of high-quality thermal insulation, applied in both residential, commercial, as well as industrial and agricultural buildings. The system is characterised by increased flammability parameters (flammability class: E) and stable physico-mechanical parameters. Thanks to the appropriate thickness of the insulating layer, the surface of the walls, partitions and facades is jointless, which significantly improves the energy efficiency of the whole building. Keep in mind that you must not exceed the recommended thickness of the total insulation (its maximum thickness is 35 mm).
Crossin® Wall Eco was introduced for sale on the basis of CPR Regulation No. 305/2011 together with the assessment of performance carried out by the Institute of Building Technology (ITB) in accordance with the European harmonized standard PN-EN 14315-1. The product has the PZH hygienic certificate, as well as CE marking confirmed by the Declaration of Performance issued for this product.
The Crossin® Wall Eco system is used for the production of rigid (hard) foam, which at the same time is a spray thermal insulation applied directly on the outside or interior of the insulated wall surface, partitions and facades regardless of the building material used. If the foam is exposed to direct UV radiation (sunlight), its surface should be protected, e.g. by at least two layers of protective paint (in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations), and if necessary, by appropriate waterproofing.
Main application advantages of the product:
Applicability directly onto the insulated surface made of most commercially available construction materials;
External and internal thermal insulation with a wide application range (insulation of walls, partitions and facades in residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural buildings, both modernized and newly erected);
Innovative thermal insulation that due to the use of a new generation of foaming agent meets stringent environmental standards;
Light, resistant to minor mechanical damage insulation, that allows the thickness to be chosen without overloading the building structure;
Low heat transfer coefficient, which allows the thickness of insulating material to be even half in relation to the classic insulation materials;
Jointless insulation, without thermal bridges or air gaps responsible for heat losses;
The ability to isolate hard-to-reach places with full insulation tightness guarantee;
Speed of execution and versatile technique of applying insulation;
Thermal insulation with high resistance to moisture and wind protects the insulated object against mould and fungi;
Mechanical properties of polyurethane foam made with the Crossin® Wall Eco system:
Apparent density of core: ≥ 34 kg/m3
Classification of the reaction to fire performance: E
Coefficient of thermal conductivity:
λmean, i : 0,020 W/(m·K)
λ90, 90 : 0,021 W/(m·K)
High mechanical strength, compressive strength: σ10 ≥ 100 kPa
The content of closed cells: ≥ 90%
In order for polyurethane insulation to retain its properties over time, it is important to clean the insulated surface before spraying. It is also worth protecting the room and the immediate surroundings from possible dirt.
