Rokopol® LDB4000D is a specialized high molecular weight diol (PPG) used for the production 1c and 2c adhesives and other polyurethane materials in reaction with isocyanate. It exists in the form of homogeneous, clear liquid. It contains antioxidants (excluding BHT). It retains low dynamic viscosity ca. 800-1200 mPas at temp. 25°C with high functionality of f~2 and hydroxyl value of 26-29 mgKOH/g. It has exceptionally low unsaturation.
Rokopol® LDB4000D has low content of metal ions. Owing to its structure it may be used for production of 1C and 2C adhesives, and also sealants, elastomers and PUR polyurethane coatings. Rokopol LDB4000D is a diol of functionality close to theoretical f~2, very low content of metal ions which has positive impact on stability of prepolymers produced using them.
