EKOPROFLEX 30-280 is a two-component polyurethane system (PU or PUR) designed for the production of elastic foam used to obtain filters for internal combustion engines. The system is distinguished by increased strength parameters.
The EKOPROFLEX 30-280 system is based on two key components, which are EKOPROFLEX 30-280 (component A) and EKOPROFLEX I24 (component B). The first one is a polyol mixture in the form of a white, non-transparent oily liquid. The second is a mixture of aromatic polyisocyanates, mainly diphenylmethane diisocyanate, which is also a liquid and has a honey-brown colour. Both fluids, despite high viscosity, do not contain any suspensions in their structure. The EKOPROFLEX 30-280 system can be processed both with low and high pressure foaming machines. The elastic foam achieves its full mechanical properties after 24 hour seasoning process.
An important advantage is that EKOPROFLEX 30-280 does not contain foaming agents, which significantly deplete the ozone layer. This is in accordance with the European Union regulations on the circulation and use of controlled substances in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1005/2009 of 16 September 2009. In addition, the product has a Hygienic Certificate of the National Institute of Hygiene (PZH), which guarantees that the product, when used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, does not adversely affect health and the environment.
Main application advantages of the product:
manufacture of products based on elastic foam resistant to possible mechanical damage,
manufacture of products using low- and high-pressure machines,
production of flexible foam products for various applications,
production of flexible foam adapted to the individual requirements of the manufacturer.
Properties of the EKOPROFLEX 30-280 system:
start time: 30 ± 5 s,
gelation time: 80 ± 10 s,
dry face time: 110 ± 10 s,
apparent density: 280 ± 20 kg / m3.
Parameters of elastic foam cut out of the block, obtained in laboratory conditions:
apparent density of the core: 500 kg / m3,
hardness measured using the Shore durometer: 32 Shore (type A).
