EKOPROFLEX 30-140 is a two-component polyurethane system (PU or PUR), intended for the production of integral and moulded foam. The system is distinguished by its increased density and mechanical strength. It is designed for the production of elements with densities ranging from 350 to even 500 kg / m3. The production of elements takes place in heated moulds.
The system consists of two components. The first of these, component A, is EKOPROFLEX 30-140. It is a polyol mixture, in the form of an oily white liquid. The component B is the EKOPROMER I24. It is a mixture of aromatic polyisocyanates (mainly diphenylmethane diisocyanate), occurring as a honey-brown liquid. Both components do not contain suspensions. The components are characterized by quite high viscosity at room temperature.
An important fact for processors is that the EKOPROFLEX 30-140 system can be processed using low and high pressure foaming machines. The full mechanical properties are obtained after 24 hour foam aging process.
The EKOPROFLEX 30-140 system does not contain foaming agents that significantly deplete the ozone layer. This is in accordance with the European Union regulations on the circulation and use of controlled substances in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1005/2009 of 16 September 2009. In addition, the product has a Hygienic Certificate of the National Institute of Hygiene (PZH), which guarantees that the product, when used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, does not adversely affect human and animal health and the natural environment.
