Rokopol® RF170 is a reactive, low-functional aliphatic polyether amine polyol. Owing to its very good properties, this polyol is an example of a product used for general application in the production of rigid and semi-rigid polyurethane (PUR) foam in reaction with isocyanate. The product has the form of an amber-coloured liquid.
This polyol maintains a very low viscosity of about 400 mPas with a functionality of f = 3. Due to its high hydroxyl value (approx. 500 mgKOH/g), high reactivity in reaction with isocyanate, and low viscosity, it is used in a mixture with typical polyols for rigid application with medium and short gelation time. Owing to its compatibility with other products, the product can be used as a viscosity depressant.
Rokopol® RF170 is dedicated to the production of PUR polyurethane systems. These systems have low start times and good adhesion to various surfaces. An additional advantage of PUR systems is the high content of flame retardant and good mechanical properties. Rokopol® RF170 shows good miscibility with typical polyols for rigid foam application. Due to its properties, it is particularly dedicated to spray applications.
