EKOPRODUR PM2233/J is a two-component polyurethane system, used for the production of rigid (hard) closed-cell foam of self-extinguishing properties. The system is dedicated for specific production requirements and conditions. Good thermal resistance of the foamed system makes it suitable for various applications. Generally, it is used for periodic production of insulation boards and panels, as well as for the production of insulation for refrigeration devices working at temperature reaching -40°C.
EKOPRODUR PM2233/J system consists of two components. The first component (component A) is a polyol mixture in the form of an oily and quite viscous liquid with straw to yellow colour. The second component (component B) is a mixture of aromatic polyisocyanates in a form of viscous, brown liquid. Both components of the system do not contain suspensions.
In terms of processing the product is quite versatile, as it can be processed with the use of both low- and high-pressure foaming machines. The system provides quite short reaction times, accelerating the processing. A characteristic feature of this product is the density of the foam in the finished product, which should be not less than 40 kg/m³. With such parameters, the resulting material is a good heat insulator, which also exhibits dimensional stability under various environmental conditions.
Another significant advantage is the fact that the system (and the final product) does not contain foaming agents which significantly deplete the ozone layer. This is in accordance with European Union rules on trading and use of controlled substances according to Regulation (EC) No. 1005/2009 of 16 September 2009. In addition, the product has a Hygienic Certificate issued by the National Institute of Hygiene (PZH), which confirms that the product used in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions does not adversely affect health and the environment.

apparent density of the core: 36 kg/m3
+100°C, after 48h: +0.5%

High mechanical resistance, compressive strength: σ 10 ≥ 190 kPa
Self-extinguishing properties (classification according to the reaction to fire: F)
Thermal conductivity coefficient at 10°C: 0.024 W/(m·K)
Demould time of foamed EKOPRODUR PM2233/J system depends on the moulder (element) size and mould temperature. Typically, full mechanical properties of the foam are obtained after 24-hour conditioning.
