Rokopol® RF475 is a highly functional polyether sorbitol polyol used for polyurethane (PUR) rigid and semi-rigid foam production in reaction with isocyanate. It exists in the form of homogeneous liquid in yellow to brown colour. It contains antioxidants (excluding BHT). It retains high viscosity (ca. 16 000 mPas) with high functionality f>5 and high hydroxyl value of ca. 470 mgKOH/g.

Rokopol® RF475 is dedicated to production of polyurethane PUR systems with higher viscosity and good mechanical properties. In particular it is dedicated to application of PUR block foam with low lambda value and foams with higher density. Physicochemical properties of polyol Rokopol® RF475 in formulations with other polyols, in particular based on aromatic amines, allow obtaining rigid polyurethane foam PUR. It is characterised by very good insulation properties, linear stability of dimensions and resistance to low temperatures.Main advantages of application of Rokopol® RF475:

ensures high degree of foam cross-linking,

very good mechanical and thermal insulation properties, improved fluidity as compared to sugar polyols,

possibility to obtain foam with very good insulation properties and very good linear stability of dimensions,

resistance to low temperatures.
