ROKAnol D5 is a non-ionic surfactant, belonging to the group of ethoxylated fatty alcohols with the INCI name: Deceth-5. The product co-forms a group of surfactants based on decyl alcohol. The commercial product contains over 99.5% active ingredient and solidifies below 4°C. It has an HLB parameter of approx. 11.9. ROKAnol D5 is a liquid with a colour of max. 50 on the Hazen scale at 50°C. ROKAnol D5 is completely soluble in water.
ROKAnol® D5 is a product mainly used in preparations used for cleaning, washing and washing. It is used both in the industrial and institutional sectors as well as in households in the form of finished products.
Due to its very good detergent properties, ROKAnol D5 is used in various washing, cleaning and laundry preparations. The product is also used in cosmetic formulations as a component of shampoos. Most often it is one of the components of compositions with other non-ionic, anionic or cationic surfactants. ROKAnol D5 can be used in environments with oxidising agents, reducing agents and hard water. It is active in cold water, acidic and neutral baths as well as in diluted alkalis. The product is used in industrial and institutional sectors as well as in households in the form of finished products.
In addition, ROKAnol D5 can be used in fibre pre-treatment processes as a component of a formulation removing oil stains (mineral oils) from fabrics/knits, which result from industrial knitting and weaving processes. Furthermore, the product can be used as a component of a bleaching composition for raw knitted and woven cotton fabrics. It is also used in the final stage of the textile dyeing process as one of the ingredients removing excess dyes from the bath. Additionally, due to its good wetting properties, the product is used in the agrochemical industry, especially in formulations of EC, EW, SC, SE types.
