ROKAnol LP3135 belongs to the group of non-ionic surfactants of the type of alkoxylated fatty alcohols. The product belongs to the ROKAnol LP series, forming a large group of low-foaming products, dedicated to the processes requiring non-ionic surfactants with particularly low foaming capacity, while maintaining the application parameters. These are mainly detergents for home use, institutional and industrial cleaning as well as other industrial processes.
The product has the form of a slightly turbid liquid with a low freezing point (below -20°C), with an active substance content of about 95%. The product is very soluble in water and has a cloud point in water above room temperature (in the temperature range 31 ÷ 35°C), while in butyl diglycol solutions – about 48°C (for a 10% solution). The low cloud point in aqueous solutions allows the full advantages of the application to be made use of at temperatures close to or slightly above room temperature.
The product is one of the most effective low-foaming wetting agents. It exhibits very good wetting properties both on fabrics and on hard surfaces. For this reason, it is used in institutional detergents, auxiliaries for textile industry, as well as dishwashing detergents. In the latter application, ROKAnol LP3135, by lowering the contact angle on hard surfaces, accelerates drying of the dishes, thus preventing the formation of stains.
These features are also used in plant protection products and adjuvants, where lowering the contact angle has a decisive impact on increasing the effectiveness of the active substance of the pesticide.
The product exhibits the lowest foaming properties of the ROKAnol LP series. This feature combined with excellent wetting and degreasing properties makes ROKAnol LP3135 a universal low foaming surfactant, also used in industrial processes, including for cleaning metals and degreasing in the oil industry. Rokanol LP3135 is completely biodegradable and complies with the detergents directive.
ROKAnol LP3135 is used in preparations for removing street film and other formulations for car chemistry.
