Roclean ATMP is nitrilotrimethylphosphonic acid in the form of an aqueous solution with an active substance content in the range of 49-51%. The product is characterized by excellent complexing properties, thanks to which it is successfully used as an anti-scaling agent, i.e. a measure preventing the formation of scale and furring up. It is also used as a peroxide stabilizer (hydrogen peroxide) and a corrosion inhibitor.
Phosphonates even at low concentrations help control the build-up of scale deposits in water cooling systems, boilers and boiler water systems, and also effectively prevent corrosion. Their presence in aqueous industrial systems means that crystals of calcium carbonates and sulphates, iron oxides and barium silicates lose the possibility of undisturbed growth. In addition, ATMP acid and its salts have excellent metal ion complexing properties, which in turn can be used to remove metal ions from industrial water.
Roclean ATMP also has the ability to disperse organic and inorganic impurities detached from the surface, which, combined with good hydrolytic stability, makes it a universal component of washing and cleaning preparations. In addition, due to the ability to stabilize peroxides, the product can also be used in industrial bleaching formulations.
