Rokopol® RF55 is a polyether sorbitol polyol used for production of polyurethane (PUR) rigid and semi-rigid foam production in reaction with isocyanate. It exists in form of colourless to pale yellow liquid. It contains antioxidants (excluding BHT). It is characterised by dynamic viscosity of ca. ~9200 mPas at temp. 25°C with relatively high functionality f~4.7. Ensures fluidity during the foaming process of rigid foam.

Rokopol® RF55 is dedicated to production of polyurethane PUR systems with moderate viscosity. Rokopol RF551 is used in combination with other polyols in order to modify properties of the PUR system (such as: viscosity, reactiveness, gelation, degree of cross-linking), and final properties of rigid (PUR) foam (such as adhesion to various surfaces, flame-retarding properties, hardness, abrasion, content of closed cells (insulation)).Main advantages of application of Rokopol® RF55:

ensures fluidity during the foaming process of rigid (PUR) foam.

physical and chemical properties of the polyol increase mechanical properties of the foam,

owing to compatibility with other polyols and additives it enables modification of the PUR system’s properties,

ensures long gelation times of the rigid PUR foam.
