Rocrete SP

Rocrete SP is a surfactant and is a sodium salt of polycondensate of naphthalene acids with formaldehyde. It is available in the form of a beige powder with very low water content and low bulk density. This translates into savings in product transport and storage.

Properties and applications
  • allows to reduce the amount of batched water (even by 25%) without deteriorating the consistency of the concrete mix;
  • allows for less cement consumption, which reduces costs (while maintaining a constant water/cement ratio);
  • increases the compression strength of concrete (up to 30%);
  • extends the setting time of concrete, maintaining consistency;
  • not sensitive to overdosing, easy and convenient to use;
  • can be used at temperatures of up to -5 ° C without inhibiting cement hydration;
  • does not cause corrosion of reinforcing steel (low chloride content);
  • practically does not introduce air into the concrete mix;
