Alkoxylated alkylarylphenols belong to the group of non-ionic surfactants. These compounds are obtained during the alcohol ethoxylation reaction of phenols linked together by alkyl chains. Under appropriate conditions, an alkoxy group (-O-R) is added to the mentioned aromatic alcohols.
The resulting derivatives are used in various industries: chemistry, pharmacy and cosmetics. One example of compounds belonging to the group of alkoxylated alkylarylphenols is ethoxylated tristyrylphenol, which is often used as a dispersant. Dół formularza
