PCC Group

PCC Group is an international capital structure, comprising dozens of companies operating in three important areas of economy, such as: chemistry, energy and logistics. The companies are business entities running production activity and service companies supporting PCC Group, and at the same time operating for the needs of an external market. The PCC Group is managed centrally by the German company PCC SE which structure comprises 78 companies, operating in 39 locations and situated in 17 countries of the world.

The main elements of PCC SE strategy is development of individual business divisions through use of potential of the new market segments and diversification of a product portfolio according to present consumer trends. PCC Group

PCC Rokita SA runs production-commercial activity under three strategic organisational units. These are: Chlorine Business Unit, Polyols Business Unit and Phosphorus Chemistry Business Unit.

The first of the mentioned Business Units, operating under PCC Rokita SA structure, produces chemical substances, including: chlorine, soda lye, caustic soda, sodium hypochlorite, propylene oxide, chlorobenzenes and hydrochloric acid. These are the basic chemical raw materials used in many industries, among which are textile industry, household chemistry and industrial cleaning agents, as well as cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, plant protecting agents, and industrial branches like food processing, metallurgic, mining, energy and many others. Production in the Chlorine Business Unit is based on the state of the art membrane electrolysis system which is one of the most modern installations across Europe.

The Polyols Business Unit manufactures basic raw materials intended for production of flexible, rigid and formed foams. Polyether polyols (polyetherols), are sold under the trade name ROKOPOL. They are used for production of polyurethanes, which currently represent one of the quickest developing raw material groups with multiple applications in many areas of science and economy. The unique properties of these products allow applying versatile processing methods which enable achieving the best technical parameters of finished products.

The Phosphorus Chemistry Business Unit is a producer of organophosphorus polymer additives which cover multiple applications including flame retardants, plasticisers and stabilisers. The Business Unit is also an important supplier of naphthalene derivative compounds mainly dedicated, among others, as super-plasticisers in building and construction industry and dispersing agents in rubber industry. Moreover its product portfolio include phosphate ester based fire resistant hydraulic fluids as well as ashless anti-wear and extreme pressure additives for lubricants and hydraulic fluids.


PCC Prodex Sp.z o.o. ranks among the leading producers of polyurethanes in Poland. The Company focuses on producing one and two-ingredient polyurethane systems, among which the following groups of products are distinguished: EKOPRODUR, EKOPROMER, EKOPROFLEX, PROMOFLEX or PROMOPUR. They are intended for production of rigid, half-rigid, flexible and integral polyurethane foams, glues and binders. The modern R&D facility, years of experience and expertise, enabled the PCC Prodex team to adjust its product offer quickly and in a flexible manner, and with a good feedback towards continuously changing demands of the polyurethanes market and trends of the construction industry. The Company designs and implements in production modern systems meeting special requirements for customized use, selected for a specific technology and developed in close co-operation with a Customer. A line of polyurethane insulation spray foams – Crossin Spray Insulation – is a perfect example of the presented solutions.


PCC EXOL SA is one the leading producers of surfactants and industrial formulations in the European market. In Eastern and Central-Eastern part of the continent it occupies an unquestionable position of the sector leader. The Company’s seat and main production installations are located in Brzeg Dolny. Here a wide range of anion, non-ionic, amphoteric surfactants and specialized industrial formulations are manufactured. At present the portfolio of PCC Exol SA includes over 300 substances and chemical mixtures intended for multiple industrial applications, among others: detergents, personal care agents, textiles industry, paints and varnishes, construction materials, paper, agro-chemicals, plastics and many others. The surfactants offered by PCC Exol SA are also applicable in metallurgic or mining industry. They are very suitable for multiple manufacturing and processing applications including metal, technical textiles, leathers and many other. PCC EXOL SA is continuously analysing consumers’ and eco-social trends following the global sustainable development trend, and uses the obtained information for manufacturing and implementing innovative specialized surfactants. This demands leaving a traditional model of the product offer for the benefit of the more advanced and innovative solutions.


PCC MCAA Sp. z o.o. is a new business unit of the PCC Group, established to develop an investment project involving launching an installation for the production of high quality mono-chloroacetic acid (MCAA). PCC MCAA Sp. z o.o. in its scale and advancement is one of the most important investments of the Polish and European chemical industry. MCAA is produced in a modern facility in Brzeg Dolny, for intended applications in drilling industry, food and pharmaceutical industries, in production of agro-chemicals and plastics. The scale of production and the product quality will enable the Company to obtain a status of one of the leading worldwide producers of MCAA.

PCC Synteza SA deals with manufacturing products of heavy organic synthesis which are intended for further processing in the chemical industry. The core business of the Company is mainly manufacturing the phenol-based products. The production technologies are based on the use of ionic-exchangeable resins as catalysts and are characterised by a high selectivity of reaction. It guarantees a high quality of the products at simultaneous limitation of generated wastewaters and emission of greenhouse gases to the atmosphere. The latest product group of PCC Synteza SA are bearing oils for enriching additives and a ready enriching package for the latest generation of motor spirits.


PCC Consumer Products Kosmet Sp. z o.o. is one of the leading producer of household, professional chemistry and personal care products. The company core business is production of private label products for the largest retail chains in the Central and Eastern Europe region. PCC CP Kosmet is also successfully developing sales of products under its own brand Roko, placed in the professional chemistry sector. Among its customers PCC CP Kosmet has also global corporations, for whom produces branded products as a contract manufacturer. PCC Chemax Inc. (USA, Piedmont, South Carolina) was founded in 1973 to develop and production of specialty surfactant additives for specific markets and individual customer needs.
