ROKAnol® LP100 belongs to the group of non-ionic surfactants of the type of alkoxylated fatty alcohols. The product belongs to the ROKAnol LP series, a large group of low-foaming products, dedicated to the processes requiring non-ionic surfactants with particularly low foaming properties, while maintaining application parameters - mainly in the institutional and industrial cleaning processes.
The product has the form of a clear or slightly turbid, low viscous liquid at room temperature, with a freezing point close to 9°C and a light colour, i.e. up to 100 Hazen-scale. The product contains about 95% of the active substance. Among the low foaming products, the product is distinguished by high hydrophilicity and has a high turbidity point at the temperature level of 72 ÷ 76°C. ROKAnol LP100 has very good solubility in water, producing clear solutions, also at elevated temperatures.
The foaming of the product is definitely lower than that of the standard non-ionic surfactants used in detergents, e.g. lauryl alcohol ethoxylate, while maintaining similar product stability in an alkaline environment. This feature is one of the most important advantages of this product. Due to the combination of high resistance to alkali with low foaming properties, ROKAnol LP100 is used primarily in alkaline detergents for professional industrial and institutional washing. In this application, the product provides optimum detergency under alkaline conditions and low foaming, which would normally interfere with the washing process, especially in continuous processes.
Due to the high content of the active substance and the low pour point, ROKAnol LP100 is easily dosed into the formulation, in particular in the case of concentrated semi-finished products. The product also has a low tendency to gel, which prevents clogging of the dosing system in process conditions.
The product can also be used in other cleaning formulations with increased alkalinity, e.g. in bottle cleaning preparations as well as CIP (Clean-In-Place) processes. ROKAnol LP100 is completely biodegradable and meets the criteria of Directive No. 648/2004 concerning detergents.
