EKOPRODUR FC H005 is a two-component polyurethane system foamed with water for the production of closed-cell rigid foam with the use of the In Situ method. It can be processed both by means of low- and high-pressure foaming machines.
EKOPRODUR FC H005 is intended for the performance of thermal insulation of building equipment and industrial installations using the In Situ casting method. It is suitable for heat and cold industrial insulation of: containers, tanks and pipelines with cladding. It should be processed by means of high-pressure foaming machines.
The obtained foam is characterized by increased resistance to fire (flammability class E).
The density of the foam in the final product is 50-60 kg/m3. In terms of processing, the product is quite versatile as it can be processed using both low- and high-pressure foaming machines. A characteristic feature of this system is the uniform density of the foam in the finished product, which should be at least 50 kg/m3. Insulation materials based on EKOPRODUR FC H005 maintain good stability of parameters, even with continuous operation at temperatures up to -40°C and periodically up to 120 °C.
An important fact is that EKOPRODUR FC H005 does not contain foaming agents which significantly deplete the ozone layer. This is compliant with EU provisions on the marketing and use of controlled substances, according to Regulation (EC) no. 1005/2009 dated 16 September 2009. Moreover, the product has a Hygienic Certificate issued by the National Institute of Hygiene (PZH PZH no. BK/B/0429/01/2019), which confirms that the product used according to the manufacturer’s instructions has no negative impact on health and the environment.
Main application advantages of the product:
Increased thermal resistance allowing it to be used in areas where higher operating temperatures are required;
Possibility of pouring directly to the mold or filling in empty spaces;
Possibility of the production of insulating material with even density distribution thanks to good flow properties allowing for thorough filling of the mold of the given element;
Production of the material based on rigid polyurethane foam with a wide application range;
Foam performance properties:
Apparent density of the core: 54 kg/m3 (PN-EN 1602:2013-07)
