Crossin® Roof Foam is a two-component spray polyurethane system used for the production of closed-cell rigid foam with self-extinguishing properties. The system consists of the polyol part (component A) and the isocyanate part (component B). Each of the ingredients is a viscous liquid and has different parameters. Component A with a higher viscosity is dark, while component B with higher density is brown. Both components are free of solid suspension. In addition, the system is distinguished by a reduced emission of volatile organic compounds (VOC), as it does not contain foaming agents that significantly deplete the ozone layer - according to European Union regulations, Regulation (EC) No. 1005/2009 of 16.IX.2009.
As a result of the combination and thorough mixing of both components, rigid (hard) foam is obtained. The system should be processed only with professional high-pressure foaming units equipped with foamer heads. This product is a unique system designed for the production of high-quality thermal insulation, applied in both residential, commercial, as well as industrial and agricultural buildings. The system is characterized by increased compressive strength, which enables long and short-term structural load. At the same time, the foam obtained with the Crossin® Roof Foam system has increased flammability parameters (flammability class: E), as well as stable physico-mechanical parameters. Thanks to the appropriate thickness of the insulating layer (at least two uniform layers, which in total give a thickness of not less than 30 mm), the surface of flat roofs, slanting roofs and multilevel roofs is jointless, which significantly improves the energy efficiency of the whole building.
Crossin® Roof Foam was introduced for sale on the basis of CPR Regulation No. 305/2011 together with the assessment of performance carried out by the Institute of Building Technology (ITB) in accordance with the European harmonized standard PN-EN 14315-1. The product has the PZH hygienic certificate, as well as CE marking confirmed by the Declaration of Performance issued for this product.
The Crossin® Roof Foam system is used for the production of rigid (hard) foam, which at the same time is a spray thermal insulation applied directly to the insulated surface of a flat, slanting and multileveled roof, regardless of the building material used. If the foam is exposed to direct UV radiation (sunlight), it should be protected, for example by painting it with at least two layers of protective paint (as recommended by the manufacturer), and if necessary, by waterproofing.
Main application advantages of the product:
Applicability directly onto the insulated surface made of most commercially available construction materials;
External thermal insulation with a wide range of applications (insulation of flat roofs, slanting roofs and multi-layered roofs in residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural buildings, both modernized and newly erected);
Extremely durable and light insulation allows for choosing individual insulation thickness without overloading the building structure;
Jointless insulation, without thermal bridges or air gaps responsible for heat losses;
The ability to isolate hard-to-reach places with full insulation tightness guarantee;
The speed of execution and versatile technique of applying insulation give the possibility of making insulation for a flat roof surface of up to 1000 m2 in one day;
Thermal insulation with high resistance to moisture and wind protects the insulated object against mould and fungi;
Mechanical properties of polyurethane foam made with the Crossin® Roof Foam system:

-30°C, over 48 h: l ≤ 2%, w ≤ 2%, t ≤ 0,5%
In order for polyurethane insulation to retain its properties over time, it is important to clean the insulated surface before spraying. It is also worth protecting the room and the immediate surroundings from possible dirt.
