EKOPRODUR 05200 is a polyurethane system consisting of: polyol part (component A) and isocyanate part (component B). Each of the ingredients is a liquid and has different parameters. Component A with a higher viscosity is dark, while component B with higher density is brown. As a result of the thorough mechanical mixing of both components, a rigid foam is obtained in the form of a low-foamed polyurethane coating. Due to its high reactivity (quick reaction times), the system should be processed only with the use of specialized high-pressure foaming units equipped with foaming heads.
This product is a unique system designed for the production of high quality coatings, applied mainly on surfaces requiring mechanical reinforcement, for example for strengthening shower trays, bathtubs, car body elements, etc. EKOPRODUR 05200 system shows excellent adhesion to most materials used for extruding shower trays and bath tubs, e.g. acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) copolymer or acrylic.
The foamed system is distinguished by its increased compressive strength, enabling long- and short-term structural load. Sprayed on the given surface, the coating is resistant to moisture and has no joints that could weaken the reinforcement layer. In addition, the system is available in a wide range of densities depending on the customer’s requirements, which ensures extensive application possibilities. The EKOPRODUR 05200 system is used for the production of a low-foamed rigid coating, which is also a hydro and thermal insulation.
EKOPRODUR 05200 has a Hygienic Certificate of the National Institute of Hygiene (PZH) confirming that the product, when used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, does not adversely affect health and the environment. In addition, the system is distinguished by a reduced emission of volatile organic compounds (VOC), as it does not contain foaming agents that significantly deplete the ozone layer – in accordance with European Union regulations, Regulation (EC) No. 1005/2009 of 16.IX.2009.
Main application advantages of the product:
Can be applied directly to a protected (reinforced) surface made of most materials used for extruding shower trays and bathtubs;
Polyurethane coating with a wide application range;
Extremely durable coating adapted to the requirements and structural loads;
The possibility of obtaining a jointless and durable coating;
A short period of time to create a protective layer;
Polyurethane protective coating with good resistance to moisture and water, additionally protects the object against mechanical damage, mould and fungi;
Mechanical properties of polyurethane foam made with the EKOPRODUR 05200 system:
Apparent density of core: 150 – 400 kg/m3
Classification of the reaction to fire performance: F
The content of closed cells ≥ 90%
In order for the sprayed coating to retain its parameters, before starting work it is necessary to prepare and clean the surface of dust and oils and secure the immediate surroundings. When spraying materials sensitive to temperature increase, a few thin layers should be made until the required coating thickness is obtained.
production of high quality rigid polyurethane coating with increased density and strength;
fast production of coating using modern and practical spraying technology;
manufacture of an insulating coating with excellent adhesion to various surfaces, e.g. to a surface made of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene copolymer (ABS) or acrylic;
coating protecting shower area and bathtubs against mechanical damage;
durable hydro and thermal insulation protecting and strengthening the construction of swimming pools and slides;
production of a protective layer against birds, among others in chicken coops;
