SULFOROKAnol®L327 (Sodium C12-15 Pareth Sulfate)

SULFOROKAnol L327 is an anionic surfactant from the group of alkyl ether sulphates (INCI name: Sodium Pareth Sulphate), based on synthetic alcohol. The product comes in the form of a 27% water solution, from colourless to light yellow. SULFOROKAnol L327 is preserved with the MIT/CIT derivative, which ensures its microbiological purity.

The solution is characterized by low viscosity at room temperature, which significantly improves its applicability, in terms of pumping, dosing and mixing with other components. The anionic nature of the product affects the synergistic effect with non-ionic, amphoteric or anionic surfactants in the final formulations. In addition, the product shows resistance to hard water and creates stable formulations in both acidic and alkaline environments.SULFOROKAnol L327 is an excellent alternative to the products of the group of alkyl ether sulphates based on natural raw materials, as it has equally strong cleaning, emulsifying and foaming properties, generating high and stable foams. Due to its above-average foaming properties, the product is used as an active foam component in car chemistry. In addition, the high foaming properties of the product also have many other applications, for example fire-fighting foams.SULFOROKAnol L327 is also used in the construction industry as a component of air-entraining concrete admixtures. The use of the product in this application increases frost resistance of the concrete. What's more, due to its strong detergent properties, the product is used as an ingredient in tanning formulations, mainly for washing and degreasing animal skins.Due to their emulsifying properties and effective lowering of the surface tension, the product can be used in emulsion polymerization processes (mainly for the production of aqueous polymer dispersions, e.g. acrylic or vinyl acetate), ensuring appropriate emulsification of the monomers in the reaction mixture.
