Active Play AS H 8013_NV is a single-component polyurethane adhesive in the form of a prepolymer based on diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI). The product is intended for the manufacture of cold- and hot-molded parts from SBR and EPDM rubber granules.
The adhesive is characterized by an NCO group content of 18.0–19.5% and a dynamic viscosity at 25°C in the range of 2000–3500 mPas. At 25°C, it is a liquid ranging in color from amber to brown. The product’s density at 20°C is 1.1–1.2 g/ml.
The adhesive forms a bond with good stiffness while maintaining flexibility. The product contains no volatile organic solvents, making it a suitable solution for industrial and professional applications.
Active Play AS H 8013_NV is a polyurethane prepolymer designed for bonding SBR and EPDM rubber granules, including those obtained from recycling processes. The product is used in the production of molded rubber components, such as weights and similar technical products. The adhesive has an NCO content of 18.0–19.5% and a dynamic viscosity at 25°C in the range of 2000–3500 mPas. At 25°C, it is a liquid ranging in color from amber to brown. The product’s density at 20°C is 1.1–1.2 g/ml.
The product enables the formation of durable and flexible bonds in rubber granule molding processes. It can be used in both cold and hot processes. Thanks to its carefully selected chemical composition, it ensures high-quality bonds and good mechanical properties of the finished parts.
The adhesive must be thoroughly mixed before use. SBR or EPDM rubber granules are mixed with the adhesive in a suitable mixer, and the prepared material is then placed in a mold. Under the influence of pressure, temperature, and humidity, the material cures to form a durable bond.
The properties of the final product depend on the type and size of the granules, the amount of adhesive used, the degree of compression, and the parameters of the manufacturing process.
