Rokolub® PO-D-10000 is used as a base oil or additive for formulations of lubricants. It is insoluble in water. It has kinematic viscosity at temp. 40°C within the range of 9000-12000 cSt and is characterised by high viscosity index: VI~370.
Rokolub® PO-D-10000 has high temperature of ignition >200 ⁰C. It is used as a base oil of the PAG type included in group V to manufacture synthetic lubricants, and also as a finished product. It maintains fluidity in temperature below -9°C which allows obtaining good low-temperature properties. Owing to this the product is all-weather and can be used without temperature-related limitations mainly in such places where anhydrous lubrication systems for machines and mechanical equipment are required.
Main advantages of application of polyol Rokolub® PO-D-10000:
high viscosity index,
excellent lubricating properties – reduced characteristics of wear and tear of materials and increased resistance tohigh pressures, allows keeping machines and equipment clean, does not leave oily deposits,
high ignition temperature.
Most popular applications of Rokolub® PO-D-10000:
base oil for industrial gearboxes,
base oil in textile industry,
base oil or additive to working fluids.
Properties and applications
Properties:
polyalkylene glycol (PAG) insoluble in water,
high flash point,
very good lubricating properties, reduced tendency to wear materials, high pressure resistance,
leaves no residue after incineration, does not form oil deposits and carbon deposits compared to mineral oils,
can be used as a lubricant in devices operating at low temperatures – retains its flowability below –9°C,
provides a higher level of thermal conductivity,
compatible with NBR and EPDM elastomers.
Application:
base oil or additive for lubricant formulations,
component for further chemical synthesis,
component for the production of synthetic solid and semi-fluid lubricants,
lubricant for machines and devices operating at low temperatures,
