ROKANATE M PE 1602 is a one-component polyurethane adhesive designed for industrial applications in the wood and construction industries. The product is a liquid with a color ranging from amber to dark amber and is characterized by a dynamic viscosity at 25°C between 3000–5000 mPas and an NCO content of 15.5–17.0%.

Properties and applications

Product Properties:

  • One-component adhesive – easy and convenient application with no need for mixing.
  • Water resistance class D4 (PN-EN 204) – durable joint resistant to moisture, water, and variable weather conditions.
  • Thermal resistance (PN-EN 14257 WATT’91) – reliable performance across a wide temperature range.
  • Very high bonding strength – ensures stable, strong, and long-lasting connections.
  • Excellent adhesion – perfectly bonds wood, wood-based boards, and most construction materials.
  • Free from organic solvents and plasticizers – safe for the environment and for chemically sensitive materials such as polystyrene.
  • Elastic and stable joint – does not crack, deform, or lose adhesion over time.
  • Standard viscosity – allows for easy and even spreading of the adhesive on surfaces.
  • Medium functionality – optimal balance between bond hardness and flexibility.

Product Applications:

Rokanate M PE 1602 is a versatile polyurethane adhesive designed exclusively for industrial and professional use, applied in:

  • Wood industry – bonding wooden elements and wood-based panels such as MDF, HDF, plywood, particleboard, and OSB.
  • Joinery – production of wooden doors, windows, frames, and profiles requiring high moisture resistance.
  • Furniture manufacturing – joining structural and decorative elements exposed to moisture or changing environmental conditions.
  • Construction – installation, insulation, and bonding of materials with different structures and properties.
  • Production of sandwich panels and layered boards, including:
    • fibreboards, polystyrene, and polyurethane boards,
    • mineral wool combined with sheet metal, wood, or plasterboard,
    • bitumen sheets and other insulation materials.
  • Bonding chemically sensitive materials, such as polystyrene – thanks to its solvent-free formula.
