ROKAmer G3800is a non-ionic surfactant that belongs to the group of block copolymers of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide (EO/PO) using glycerin as a starter.
The product is a colourless and clear liquid. It features a low freezing point, i.e. below -20°C. ROKAmer G3800 is a product with a very high concentration of the active substance, amounting to approx. 100%.
The product is a block copolymer with an average molar mass of approx. 3800 g/mol. It is characterised by reduced water solubility (at low concentrations and at low water temperatures). The ROKAmer G3800 cloud point is determined in a 25% BDG solution and it becomes turbid at the temperature range of (25-28)°C.
ROKAmer G3800 is a polymer with a specific tri-functional structure, i.e. it has three hydrophilic groups. This is typical of the ROKAmers G as compared to other non-ionic surfactants and determines their properties.
ROKAmer G3800 is a product with low- and anti-foaming properties. It is effective at temperatures over 20°C. ROKAmer G3800 is also a highly reactive surfactant. It can be further modified, e.g. with fatty acids.
The product is a substance with very good anti-foaming properties. Its derivatives are useful in the paper and food industries. The product is used in many industrial processes e.g. the process of paper pulp generation, fermentation, food processing and sugar production. As an anti-foaming agent, ROKAmer G3800 is also used in the process of washing fruit and vegetables.
ROKAmer G3800 is also used for a number of processes where the issue of foaming of wastewater or technological waters occurs at elevated temperatures.
Due to its properties, the product lowers the surface tension between the liquid and air, while improving foam "drainage", which results in its reduction.
ROKAmer G3800 does not contain silicone.
It is a biodegradable product, not classified under the CLP/GHS regulation. It is kosher certified.
