EXOcare®TE25 Flakes MB (Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceteareth-25)

EXOcare TE25 Flakes MB is a product with emulsifying and moisturizing properties, in the form of a mixture under the INCI name Ceteareth-25, Cetearyl Alcohol. The product is commercially available as a white, waxy solid having the form of flakes with a white or cream colour.

The raw material in the EXOcare TE25 MB flakes product comes from sustainable sources and is a derivative of palm kernel oil obtained from certified oil palm (oil palm) plantations. This product belongs to the group of products covered by the RSPO certificate in the Mass Balance model (www.rspo.org).

EXOcare TE25 Flakes MB serves mainly as an emulsifying base in O/W formulations. It is characterized by a high stability in a wide range of pH levels. It may be used as the primary or secondary emulsifier in a number of cosmetic products (balms, creams and pastes).

EXOcare TE25 Flakes MB can also be applied as an effective conditioner and emollient in cleaning or body care cosmetics. The product prevents excessive evaporation of water from the surface (indirect moisturizing effect), and thus conditions (softens and smooths out) skin and hair.What is an extremely positive feature is its ability to reduce the drying effect of standard anionic surfactants contained in formulations. EXOcare TE25 Flakes MB favourably affects skin moisture and covers it with a protective layer .It is also a very good rheology modifier. It efficiently improves the distribution of cosmetic preparations, adds slip, and may support foaming in washing agents. Additionally, the product thoroughly removes contaminants and make-up from the skin but does not cause excessive degreasing while washing. It is not sensitive to hard water.EXOcare TE25 Flakes MB is safe. It does not cause irritation or allergic reactions. It can be used with other non-ionic surfactants and in mixtures with anionic and cationic surfactants.The product is not subject to ADR/RID regulations.
