EXOwet R3823 is a ready-to-use mixture of non-ionic surfactants, formulated to improve water infiltration into the soil. It works by facilitating the penetration of water into deeper soil layers and retaining it in the humus layer to ensure better availability to plants.

The product is a viscous, clear liquid ranging in colour from white to pale yellow. It has a freezing point of -20 °C and a neutral pH in aqueous solution (5% concentration) within the range of 4–7. The active ingredient content is approximately 90%, ensuring high efficacy.

This product is a soil-applied adjuvant that improves water infiltration into the soil whilst being retained in the humus layer, thereby ensuring better moisture availability for plants. As a result, it supports plant growth during periods of drought, and during rainy seasons it facilitates water penetration into the soil, particularly after prolonged dry spells when the soil becomes compacted, is covered with a crust and exhibits hydrophobic properties. By reducing surface tension and increasing the soil’s hydrophilicity, it enables water to soak in more easily.Compared to EXOwet R3831, the product demonstrates better efficacy in hard water and at higher temperatures.A moist humus layer helps maintain the soil microbiome in good condition. The presence of microorganisms living in symbiosis with plants increases the availability of nutrients and reduces the risk of pathogen development.EXOwet R3823 can also be used in herbicide treatments. By increasing water availability to plants, it aids the penetration of water-soluble herbicides, enhancing their effectiveness.The product’s ingredients are not classified as hazardous substances; the formulation poses no threat to the environment, is fully and slowly biodegradable, and contains no siloxanes.
