Crossin® Titan X35 is a two-component spray-applied polyurethane system designed to produce closed-cell rigid foam with self-extinguishing properties. The system is used to apply thermal insulation by spraying it directly onto the surfaces to be insulated.
Crossin® Titan X35 can be used for both interior and exterior insulation. It is used, among other things, for insulating walls, ceilings, attics, basements, tanks, pipelines, and components with non-standard geometries. The system is designed for use in residential and commercial construction, as well as in agriculture and industry.
Crossin® Titan X35 is a two-component polyurethane system consisting of a polyol component and an isocyanate component. After combining and thoroughly mixing both components, a rigid polyurethane foam with a closed-cell structure is formed.
The system is designed for application using specialized foaming units equipped with a spray head. When applied properly, it creates a continuous, seamless insulation layer, even on surfaces with complex geometries.
To achieve the proper insulation layer, it is recommended to apply at least two uniform layers of foam, with the total insulation thickness being no less than 60 mm. The recommended thickness of a single layer is 30–35 mm.
Key application advantages of the product:
Capability to apply both interior and exterior insulation using the spray method.
Wide range of applications: insulation of walls, ceilings, attics, basements, tanks, pipelines, and components with non-standard geometries.
Suitable for use in residential and commercial buildings, as well as in agriculture and industry;
Closed-cell foam structure ensuring high airtightness of the insulation.
Allows for the creation of a seamless insulation layer, reducing the risk of areas that compromise the continuity of the insulation;
Allows for the insulation of surfaces with unusual and complex geometries;
Good adhesion of the foam to prepared surfaces;
Quick application using professional spray equipment.
Mechanical Properties of Polyurethane Foam Produced Using the Crossin® Titan X35 System
Apparent density of the core: ≥ 33 kg/m³;
Fire reaction classification: F;
Short-term water absorption under partial immersion: Wp ≤ 0.20 kg/m²;
Thermal conductivity coefficient λD accounting for aging: 0.033 W/(m·K);
Compressive stress at 10% relative deformation: σ10 ≥ 150 kPa;
Water vapor diffusion resistance factor: μ ≥ 50;
Dimensional stability:
70°C, 90% RH, after 48 h: DS(70,90)3;
-20°C, after 48 h: DS(-20,-)3.
The foam’s full mechanical properties are achieved after 48 hours of curing.
Crossin® Titan X35 should be applied using a specialized spray machine. The recommended ambient temperature is 15–35°C, while the substrate temperature should be between 15 and 50°C. Relative ambient humidity should not exceed 70%, and the moisture content of porous substrates should not exceed 15%. Non-porous substrates should be dry.
Before beginning application, both components should be heated to a temperature of 30–40°C. The POLY component must be thoroughly mixed before spraying begins and mixing should continue throughout the application. Surfaces to be insulated should be properly prepared—cleaned of dust, oil, loose particles, and other contaminants that could reduce the foam’s adhesion.
After insulation is complete, it is recommended to ventilate the room until the odor dissipates. If ventilation is insufficient, ensure forced air circulation. Foam exposed to direct UV radiation should be properly protected.
