Rokolub® 50-B-100 is used as a base oil or additive for formulations of lubricants. It is soluble in water. Product viscosity class according to ISO VG is 100. It has kinematic viscosity at temp. 40°C within the range of 90-110 cSt and is characterised by high viscosity index: VI~225.

Properties and applications

Properties:

  • PAG base oil (Group V),
  • water-soluble,
  • has a high flash point,
  • retains pourability at low temperatures (below -45°C),
  • exhibits very good low-temperature properties (all-season product),
  • reverse solubility at high temperatures (forms a durable lubricating film),
  • exhibits very good lubricating properties (reduced wear, high resistance to high pressures),
  • leaves no oil deposits – maintains system cleanliness,
  • reduces carbon deposits and sludge formation compared to mineral oils,
  • compatible with NBR and EPDM elastomers,
  • NSF HX-1 certified (permitting incidental contact with food).

Application:

  • base oil or additive for lubricant formulations,
  • base oil for synthetic lubricants (PAG, Group V)
  • used in water-free lubrication systems for machinery and equipment,
  • lubrication of equipment operating at low temperatures,
  • wherever high cleanliness of lubrication systems is required,
  • applications with possible incidental contact with food,
  • base oil for hydraulic fluids,
  • base oil for compressors,
  • base oil in the textile industry,
  • base oil for machining fluids (cooling and lubricating),
  • formulations for heat treatment of metals.
