Rokolub® MOS 32 is a high-quality synthetic PAG (polyalkylene glycol) base oil, insoluble in water and miscible with mineral oils. The product is intended for use as a base oil or functional additive in the formulation of high-grade lubricants, including synthetic lubricating oils classified as Group V.

It has an ISO VG 32 viscosity grade, a kinematic viscosity at 40°C in the range of 28–36 cSt, a high viscosity index (VI ~170) and a flash point above 240°C.

Properties and applications

Properties:

  • insoluble in water,
  • miscible with mineral oils,
  • very good lubricating properties,
  • high resistance to loads and high pressures,
  • high flash point,
  • can be used at low temperatures,
  • low aniline point, supports the miscibility of polar and non-polar components in lubricant formulations,
  • NSF HX-1 certified – approved for incidental food contact.

Application:

  • base oil or additive for lubricant formulations,
  • high-grade synthetic lubricating oils,
  • base oil for compressors,
  • base oil for hydraulic fluids,
  • base oil for greases,
  • base oil or additive for machining fluids.
