Rokolub® 60-D-220 is a high-quality synthetic PAG (polyalkylene glycol) base oil that is soluble in water. The product is intended for use as a base oil or functional additive in the formulation of high-grade lubricants, including synthetic lubricating oils classified as Group V.
It has an ISO VG 150 viscosity grade, a kinematic viscosity at 40°C in the range of 198-242 cSt, a very high viscosity index (VI ~230) and a high flash point above 240°C.
Rokolub® 60-D-220 has excellent lubricating properties, effectively reduces wear on friction elements, and provides high resistance to loads and high pressures. The product helps keep machines and equipment clean, leaves no oil deposits, and reduces carbon deposits compared to mineral oils.
Rokolub® 60-D-220 retains its excellent low-temperature properties, remaining pourable at temperatures below -35°C, which allows it to be used in a wide range of operating temperatures. It also has an increased cloud point, which is a significant advantage when used as a component in metalworking fluid (MWF) formulations, where it acts as a cooling and lubricating fluid.
Reverse solubility at higher temperatures allows the creation of a durable lubricating film on the surface of the machined metal, making the product extremely useful in formulations for heat treatment of metals as a cooling and lubricating fluid.
Rokolub® 60-D-220 is NSF HX-1 certified for incidental food contact and has a very good degree of biodegradability.
