Rokolub® 60-D-320 is a high-quality synthetic PAG (polyalkylene glycol) base oil, soluble in water. The product is intended for use as a base oil or functional additive in the formulation of high-grade lubricants, including synthetic lubricating oils classified as Group V.

It has an ISO VG 320 viscosity grade, a kinematic viscosity at 40°C in the range of 288-352 cSt, a very high viscosity index (VI ~240), a high flash point above 220°C, and a high cloud point of approximately 80°C.

Properties and applications

Properties:

  • synthetic PAG base oil (group V),
  • good solubility in water,
  • very good lubricating and anti-wear properties, ensuring cleanliness of systems and efficient operation of machines and equipment,
  • reduces the formation of carbon deposits and sludge compared to mineral oils,
  • high resistance to loads and high pressures,
  • has very good low-temperature properties - pour point below -35°C, enabling use in devices operating at low temperatures,
  • is compatible with NBR and EPDM elastomers,
  • leaves no residue after incineration,
  • provides a higher level of thermal conductivity,
  • has a very good biodegradability profile.

Application:

  • base oil or additive for lubricant formulations,
  • high-grade synthetic lubricating oils (group V),
  • component for further chemical synthesis,
  • lubricants for machines and equipment operating at low temperatures,
  • base oil for synthetic gear oil formulations,
  • component for the production of metalworking fluids (MWF) and process fluids,
  • component for the production of lubricants in the textile industry.
