ROKAnol®LP400 (Polyoxyalkylene glycol ether)

ROKAnol® LP400 belongs to the group of non-ionic surfactants of the type of alkoxylated fatty alcohols. The product belongs to the ROKAnol LP series, forming a group of low-foaming products, dedicated to processes requiring non-ionic surfactants with reduced foaming. ROKAnol® LP400 has the form of a clear liquid with a low freezing point below -5°C and a light colour, max. 100 Hazen scale. The product dissolves well in water and low aliphatic alcohols, while the cloud point in the aqueous solution is in the range of 39-42°C.

Due to the unique structure, the product exhibits very good wetting properties in combination with low-foaming properties. For this reason, the product is used primarily as a component of the formulations used in the fibre production, textile processing, especially in wet processes. ROKAnol® LP400 is compatible with the other ingredients of auxiliary formulations, including chelating agents, solvents and alkalis, which facilitates its manipulation by the formulator.Due to the high wetting capacity, the product ensures the removal of excess air from the fabric and increases the efficiency of bleaching agents used in the textile industry. At the same time, due to the low foaming properties, the product prevents excessive foaming of bleaching baths. In addition, ROKAnol® LP400 helps to achieve higher hydrophilicity of the fabric, which translates into better colouring effects. As a result, it is also used as a foaming regulator of other surfactants. These product features also allow it to be used as a low-foaming surfactant in industrial washing and cleaning, as well as in household detergents, e.g. in dishwashing agents.
