High Resilience (HR) foams are highly elastic polyurethane foams with increased strength and elasticity.
They are characterised by density ranging from 23 to 60 kg/m3, with hardness from 1 to 5 kPa, and flexibility up to 70%. HR foams have breaking strength exceeding 60 kPa, and elongation at break reaching 80%.
High Resilience foams adapt quickly to the contours of the user’s body, and they support it by distributing pressure over the entire surface of the foam. This property prevents body movement to be transmitted along the mattress.
These foams are mainly used for producing mattresses with a high level of comfort.
