Rokopol® M5000 is a polyether polyol produced in the KOH technology. It exists in the form of homogeneous, clear liquid. It contains antioxidants (excluding BHT). It has hydroxyl value within the range of 33-37 mgKOH/g and dynamic viscosity within the range of 700-960 mPas at temp. 25°C.

Rokopol® M5000 is used in the production of high-resilience (HR) flexible polyurethane foams in continuous (slabstock) systems, in batch production, and in the production of molded foams. Using Rokopol® M5000 polyol, reactive polymeric polyols, and appropriately selected additives (catalysts, silicones, blowing agents), it is possible to produce blocks of high-resilience (HR) flexible foam with a rectangular cross-section and a height of up to 100 cm.Key application advantages of Rokopol® M5000 polyol:

the ability to produce foams with densities ranging from 25 to 80 kg/m³, hardness in the range of 2–5 kPa, and elasticity up to 55%,
the foam’s tear strength exceeds 60 kPa and its relative elongation at break is up to 80% ,
used with reactive polymeric polyols to, among other things, increase foam hardness, eliminate block trapezoidal deformation, and increase block height,
high comfort coefficient exceeding 2.6.

The most common applications of Rokopol® M5000 polyol:

flexible foams and high-resilience (HR) foams,
as a comfort material in mattresses, pillows, and upholstered furniture,
acoustic insulation,
cockpits, headliners, body panels, seats, and headrests.
