Rokopol® vTec 770 is a polyether polyol. It exists as a homogeneous liquid free of mechanical impurities, which may be opalescent. It contains antioxidants (excluding BHT). It has hydroxyl value within the range of 233-252 mgKOH/g and its dynamic viscosity is within the range of 200-300 mPas at temp. 25°C.

Rokopol® vTec 770 is used in the production of viscoelastic polyurethane foams using both continuous (slabstock) and batch production systems. Using Rokopol® vTec 770 polyol, reactive supplementary polyols, and appropriately selected additives (catalysts, silicones, blowing agents), it is possible to produce viscoelastic foam blocks with a rectangular cross-section and a height of up to 70 cm.Main application advantages of Rokopol® vTec 770 polyol:

the ability to produce foams with densities ranging from 40 to 80 kg/m³ and hardness in the range of 1–3 kPa and elasticity up to 55%,

the foam’s tear strength exceeds 50 kPa and its relative elongation at break exceeds 60%,

the foam’s recovery time is 1–10 s,

and a reduced tendency for the foam’s hardness to increase at low temperatures.

The most common applications for Rokopol® vTec 770 polyol:

viscoelastic foams (Memory Foam) and polyurethane foams,

mattresses and pillows with enhanced comfort,

elastic foams and gel foams.
