EXOstab TSA is a special multi-ingredient mixture intended for spraying foams foamed using water. The product is a clear liquid with a coagulation temperature of approx. 0°C. The hydroxyl number of the product is 115 mg KOH/g, while its functionality is equal to 1. The product is highly soluble in water.
The product significantly improves the compatibility of the entire recipe, which contributes to the high stability of the emulsion in time and ultimately to the fine-celled foam structure. EXOstab TSA also helps to reduce the amount of silicone surfactants in use, which reduces the overall cost of the PU foam recipe.
EXOstab TSA is a perfect alternative to ethoxylated nonylphenols. It works particularly well with PU recipes, in which alternatives to ethoxylated nonylphenols containing 8 and 9 moles of ethylene oxide are desirable. The product does not contain silicone derivatives; in addition, the product does not contain ethoxylated alkylphenols (NPEO-free).
EXOstab TSA can also be used in industrial applications, being a perfect substitute for ethoxylated nonylphenols as an ingredient of laundry, cleaning, washing, wetting and degreasing compositions for industrial purposes. Mixing with alkylosulfates and alkylarylsulfonates exhibits a synergistic effect; therefore, it is an excellent additive for the production of industrial and institutional washing agents. It exhibits very good wetting and detergent properties. It can be used in textiles and tanning due to very good degreasing properties.
