ROSULfan M is a mixture of chemical compounds based on an anionic surfactant classified as an alkyl sulfate (INCI: MEA-Lauryl Sulfate; Monoethanolamine Lauryl Sulfate). It is a basic surfactant that has excellent foaming properties. Combined with sodium chloride (NaCl), it demonstrates good thickening properties.
The product comes in the form of a clear liquid with a characteristic odour. Its pH is in the range of 3.0 - 4.0. The content of the active substance in the commercial product ranges from 26.5% to 27.5% It is freely soluble in water. Its microbiological purity is ensured by the content of a preservative called lactic acid.
ROSULfan M is characterised by its mild effect on the skin, which is why it can be used as an ingredient in cosmetic formulations designed for sensitive skin.Thanks to its excellent foamingand cleaning properties, ROSUlfan M can be used as a component for shampoos, bubble baths, shower gels and other rinse-off personal care products.
In addition to its excellent foaming properties, the product also demonstrates emulsifying and thickening effects. It is very compatible with other anionic, non-ionic and amphoteric surfactants. ROSULfan M is an excellent raw material that will perform well in formulations with high clarity and a low cloud point.
Thanks to its properties, ROSULfan M is also used as an ingredient in a variety of washing, cleaning and laundry detergents. Moreover, its great foaming properties make the product suitable for use as an ingredient in fire-fighting foam concentrates for the fire protection industry. As an emulsifier, ROSULfan M also performs well in the production of various types of rubber latexes and resins.
