Roksol HSG is a fire resistant hydraulic fluid for mining, coke, iron and steel and metallurgical industries. The product is based on natural oil, surfactants, glycols, polymers, corrosion inhibitors and a special package of enhancing additives and water. It is a mixture in the form of red, oily liquid with a cloudiness tendency.
Roksol HSG is well soluble in water and in low aliphatic alcohols. The freezing point of HSG Roksol is -15˚C, which facilitates the handling of this product under process conditions. At the same time, the product does not require any special treatment during storage or transport.
The product exhibits lubricating properties, which makes it suitable for use in the metallurgical industry as a flame retardant oil. The water content of 40-50%, as well as the selection of other components of the mixture, ensures the flame retardancy of the Roksol HSG composition. Flame retardancy is one of the desired features, especially in environment with high fire risk. Roksol HSG is intended for use in hydraulic systems of machines operating in particularly difficult conditions, e.g. in mining.
