Roflex T45 is a modified aryl phosphate that combines the functions of plasticiser and flame retardant. The product is a response to growing market requirements related to the plasticisation assurance of plastics at low temperatures. In addition, the plasticiser is characterised by a lower level of smoke generation during the combustion process. As a result, Roflex T45 can be used in applications where the key aspect is to ensure low smoke generation in indoor applications. At the same time, the additive ensures high elasticity of materials exposed to low temperatures in outdoor applications.
Roflex T45 is a highly specialised product dedicated to the following industries:
- low-smoke insulation of cables and wires,
- low-smoke indoor applications (floor coverings, coated fabrics),
- automotive (vehicle upholstery),
- low-temperature outdoor applications (technical films, vehicle tarpaulins).
Application-related product advantages:
- the possibility of obtaining a PVC formulation meeting the UL-94 class V0 test requirements,
- ensures high elasticity of plastics at low temperatures,
- the possibility of obtaining a PVC formulation for the manufacture of plastics with reduced smoke generation according to ISO 5659-2 and PN-EN 13823 class s1,
- compatibility with plasticisers not featuring a flame retardant function,
- product in the form of a clear homogeneous liquid that can be used in the manufacture of transparent products.
