ROKAnol GA4 belongs to the group of ethoxylated fatty alcohol surfactants. The product co-creates the group of surfactants based on C10- Guerbet alcohol. The commercial product contains approximately 99% of the active substance.

ROKAnol GA4 is in the form of a liquid with a tendency to delaminate and pour point at 0°C. At the temperature of 50°C, the product takes on a lighter colour, i.e. max. 50 according to the Hazen scale. Its turbidity point is set for the 16.7% of ROKAnol GA4 solution in the 25% BDG solution, which falls within the limits of 42÷45°C.The product forms slightly turbid solutions in water, but it is soluble in organic solvents, such as methanol and acetone. It may be used as a compound of mixtures with non-ionic, anionic and cationic surfactants.ROKAnol GA4 has very good wetting properties (the lower level of ethoxylation of ROKAnol GA, the better wetting properties), which may be of key importance for many applications, starting from cleaning hard surfaces and ending with textile processing. Furthermore, ROKAnol GA4 forms very low foam, which is useful in case of compositions, where the application of antifoaming agents is not desirable. In dynamic tests imitating a degreasing bath, the product delivers very good results, hence, it may be recommended as an ingredient of industrial cleaning means or degreasing preparations, especially for smooth surfaces (metal, glass, etc.). Due to its poor hydrophilic nature, the product may be used as an emulsifier for mineral oils and non-polar solvents in the formulations for cleaning metal elements.ROKAnol GA4 is biodegradable under natural environment in compliance with the Detergent Directive.
