ROKAnol® LP2424 MB (C12-14 alcohol ethoxylated, propoxylated)

ROKAnol LP2424 MB is a non-ionic surfactant belonging to the group of alkoxylated fatty alcohols. It is based on a raw material of natural origin. The raw material in ROKAnol LP2424 MB is a derivative of palm kernel oil from certified Guinea Oil plantations. This product belongs to the group of RSPO certified products in the Mass Balance model (www.rspo.org).

The commercial product exists as a clear or slightly cloudy liquid with a very low freezing point (below -20°C) and a bright colour. Its cloud point in a butyl diglycol solution is approx. 30°C (for a 16.7% solution). It can be used in mixtures with other non-ionic auxiliaries and in mixtures with anionic and cationic surfactants.

ROKAnol LP2424 MB is one of the best cleaning agents. It shows very good detergency. That feature makes it applicable as an ingredient in a wide range of cleaning preparations in households or professional washing and cleaning agents at institutions and industrial plants. ROKAnol LP2424 MB is excellent in applications that require a low foaming capacity in addition to very good detergency. The product has cleaning properties equivalent to the commonly used lauryl alcohol ethoxylates, but stands out with a foam production being several times lower. It is often used in detergent formulations, in combination with ROKAnol L5P5 and L4P5 due to their synergistic effects.This surfactant is also very good as an ingredient in auxiliaries for the textile industry, mostly in fabric bleaching preparations. ROKAnol LP2424 MB is biodegradable and meets the biological decomposition criteria established by Regulation (EC) No. 648/2004 on detergents.It is not subject to ADR/RID regulations.
