ROKAcet CC6 is a non-ionic surfactant with the INCI name:PEG-6 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides. It is a glyceride of a mixture of caprylic and capric acids, ethoxylated with 6 moles of ethylene oxide.
"Caprylic" as part of the INCI name means that the product contains caprylic acid (octanoic acid) as a component of the fatty acid (introduced mainly by the acylation reaction).
At the temperature of 20÷25°C, Rokacet CC6 is a clear liquid with a colour of max. 150 on the Hazen scale. The product has a characteristic odour and shows good solubility.
ROKAcet CC6 MB belongs to the group of products covered by the RSPO certificate in the Mass Balance model (www.rspo.org). This means that the palm oil used to produce the derivatives included in the ROKAcet CC6 product comes from crops that do not contribute to the depletion of natural values. At the same time, its production respects the rights of people living in areas where oil palms are grown.
