BioROKAMINA K30B MB is a highest quality, colourless amphoteric surfactant with approx. 30% content of active substance, classified among betaines.
This specific product is manufactured with the use of a unique raw material of natural origin that is monochloroacetic acid named Greenline MCAA 80% Solution UP with the highest available purity. This raw material is produced based on natural acetic acid obtained through plant fermentation. Thanks to production with the contribution of Greenline MCAA, the natural origin index (according to ISO 16128)of BioROKAMINA K30B MB is increased (manufacturer’s declaration available upon customer request).

Another ingredient contained in BioROKAMINA K30B MB is a oil palm derivative obtained from certified plantations of oil palm, also known as macaw-fat (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.).

In formulations, this product heavily contributes to their increased stability. An important feature of this BIO betaine is also its high level of stability in high salinity solutions. These features greatly enhance efficiency, resulting in the reduced consumption of surfactants in cosmetic and other products. Aside from all of its advantages, BioROKAMINA K30B MB exhibits a very good ability to smooth and soften the hair and skin. It also has the capability to alleviate the skin irritant effect of other ingredients, especially anionic surfactants, which is highly desirable in cleaning cosmetic formulations.
Because betaines reduce the static charges that often form on the surface of the hair, BioROKAMINA K30B MB also has an antistatic effect, preventing them from picking up static. In this way, it conditions, that is, softens and smooths the hair. This makes it smooth and soft, and gives it a beautiful and well-groomed look. In addition, BioROKAMINA K30B MB also has excellent hydrotropic properties, meaning that it improves the clarity of the finished cosmetic product, affecting its quality.
BioROKAMINA K30B MB is one of the most efficient modifiers of the rheology of preparations containing anionic surfactants in the presence of electrolytes. It is also characterised by far superior thickening properties in the presence of electrolytes relative to amphoteric surfactants classified among the group of cocamidopropylobetaines. Compared to standard ingredients from the surfactants group, BioROKAMINA K30B MB used as an ingredient of personal hygiene agents reduces the undesirable irritant and sensitising properties of the finished product to a much greater extent. Thanks to its natural origin and mild effect on the skin and hair, this surfactant is recommended as the main raw material for the production of cosmetics dedicated to sensitive skin prone to irritation and sensitisation.
