ROKAmer®R2800 (EO/PO block copolymer)

ROKAmer R2800 is a high-molecular polymer with a specific bi-functional structure, i.e. it has two hydrophilic groups. The feature is typical of the ROKAmer group as compared to other non-ionic surfactants and determines their properties.

ROKAmer R2800 is a product with very good low- and anti-foaming properties. It is perfect as a component of lubricants in the metal and textile industry. In such applications, it works very well, especially at higher temperatures.

The product is characterized by good surface washability. It can also be used in the production of professional detergents for institutional and industrial washing, as well as for some industrial processes.

In addition, ROKAmer R2800 is a reactive surfactant, susceptible to further modification, e.g. with fatty acids. Its derivatives are used as anti-foaming ingredients for the paper and food industry (e.g. sugar production), as well as for numerous processes where the problem of foaming of wastewater and technological waters occurs. 

Thanks to its properties, ROKAmer R2800 also reduces the surface tension between liquid and air. At the same time, it improves the "drainage" of foam, resulting in its reduction.

ROKAmer R2800 does not contain silicone. It is not classified as a hazardous substance and is susceptible to aerobic biodegradation. In addition, it meets the regulatory requirements in the area of approval for indirect contact with food. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) permits the use of this product and its derivatives as an anti-foaming agent under the conditions described in the following FDA sections:
