Polymax® PA-660A belongs to a line of products developed for plating applications. The Polymax® materials offer a variety of functions in both electroless and electrolytic plating baths. Polymax® PA-660A is recommended for use in acid zinc and electroless copper plating bath applications at a use level of 2.7-7.5 g/l. It is a versatile chemistry that provides grain refinement and auxiliary brightening to high surface tension, high electrolyte systems like those used in acid zinc plating baths.
Polymax® PA-660A is a high molecular weight polyalkylene glycol. It maintains a low foam and is an easy-to-handle non-viscous liquid. This chemistry also provides wetting attributes to electroless copper plating baths. It is readily water soluble exhibiting a cloud point of > 45°C.
