POLIkol 300 belongs to the group of polyoxyethylene glycols (PEG with an average molecular weight of 300). INCI: PEG-6. The product is a colourless liquid well soluble in water, with a relatively low viscosity and freezing point below 0 ° C. It is characterized by good alkali resistance and strong hygroscopic properties. In addition, it exhibits excellent dissolution capacity of the active ingredients.

POLIkol 300 is characterized by a wide range of applications. It has excellent softening, lubricating, solubilizing, moisturizing properties and antielectrostatic properties. In cosmetic formulations POLIkol 300 acts as a solubilizer and humectant, binding water. It can be effectively used to modify the rheology of active substances.Due to its anti-electrostatic properties, it is used in industrial cleaning and metalworking. Hygroscopic properties are used in the agrochemical industry, especially in the production of fertilizers. The product is also a raw material for the production of esters in the chemical industry.POLIkol 300 is used for hardening concrete and cement mortars, and by reducing water losses in mixes ensures stronger bonding of the material. With appropriate dosing, it increases the mechanical strength of the hardened concrete. It can be used in the self-curing concrete.In addition, POLIkol 300 has a positive opinion from the FDA (Food and Drug Agency), which allows the use of polyethylene glycol in the form of a non-direct food additive based on CFR 21: 175.105, 175.210, 176.180, 176.200.It should be remembered that the product must be used in accordance with the definitions provided by the organization, not exceeding the maximum permitted dose.
