SULFOROKAnol® L170/1 (Sodium C12-C14 Laureth Sulfate)

SULFOROKAnol L170/1 is an anionic surfactant from the group of alkyl ether sulphates (INCI name: Sodium Laureth Sulphate). The product is mainly based on raw material of natural origin. It has the consistency of liquid paste, colourless to pale yellow.

The product is available in a concentrated form as a 70% aqueous solution, which translates into a favourable economic aspect in terms of transport and storage.

SULFOROKAnol L170/ does not contain preservatives and is completely soluble in water, including hard water.

SULFOROKAnol L170/1 has excellent washing properties, increased resistance to hard water, emulsifiability and foaming - this product generates high and very stable foams. One of the basic features of the product is its ability to increase the viscosity of washing formulations in the presence of electrolytes and amphoteric or non-ionic surfactants, such as ROKAmina K30 or ROKAmid KAD.

The product is fully biodegradable and meets the criteria of the Cosmetics and Detergents Directives.

SULFOROKAnol L170/1 is also used as an ingredient in a wide range of detergents - dishwashing liquids, laundry detergents (including concentrated ones), liquids for cleaning hard surfaces, as well as professional detergents. Due to above-average foaming properties, the product is used as a component of active foams for car care products. As a component of cleaning formulations for various surfaces, it is suitable for both acidic and alkaline environments.

Excellent detergency properties of the product make it suitable as a component of degreasing and washing formulations for wet processing in the leather industry. Due to its emulsifying and anionic properties, SULFOROKAnol L170/1 is used as an emulsifier in processing fluids.

Moreover, due to an excellent foaming properties, it is a basic component of air- entraining admixtures for concrete and cement mortars. SULFOROKAnol L170/1 works in synergy with foam stabilizers, humectants or wetting agents.

SULFOROKAnol L170/1 is used in the production of synthetic extinguishing agents, generating extinguishing foam that is resistant to condensation and high temperatures.

Additionally, it plays a significant role as an emulsifier in acrylic, styrene-acrylic, homo- and vinyl acetate copolymers, including VaE and emulsion PVC dispersions.

The surfactant complies with the biodegradability criteria laid down in Regulation (EC) No. 648/2004 on detergents.

Due to its anionic character, this product is perfect for formulations with other anionic, non-ionic and amphoteric surfactants. The product is the main ingredient of personal hygiene products, such as body wash gels, shampoos, bath lotions.
