Rokopol® M1145 is a polyether polyol, a block/statistical copolymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide with ethylene oxide capping based on glycerine. It exists in the form of liquid free of mechanical impurities, may be opalescent. It contains antioxidants (excluding BHT). It has hydroxyl value within the range of 35-39 mgKOH/g, and dynamic viscosity within the range of 950-1300 mPas at temp. 25°C.

Rokopol® M1145 is used as cell opener for production of high resilience (HR) flexible and hyper soft (Hyper Soft) polyurethane foams using the continuous system (slabstock), periodic production (batch) and moulded foams. Using Rokopol® M1145 and properly selected additives (catalysts, silicones, foaming agents), blocks of extra high resilience flexible foam (HR) with rectangular cross-section and height up to 120 cm can be produced. Main advantages of application of Rokopol® M1145:

400 MW poliol weight ,

high purity, low emission of volatile organic compounds,

possibility to manufacture foams of density within the range 20-80 kg/m3, hardness within the range 0.6- 3kPa, and elasticity up to 40%,

tear resistance of the foam is above 40kPa and relative elongation at rupture above 200%,

it is used in combination with polyols of the series vTec for production of viscoelastic foams,

very high comfort factor,

wide range of density and high resistance to scorch.
