SULFOROKAnol® L370 (Sodium C12-C15 Pareth Sulfate)

SULFOROKAnol L370 is an anionic surfactant from the group of alkyl ether sulfates, based on synthetic alcohol called INCI: Sodium Pareth Sulfate. The product has the consistency of a liquid paste, colourless to light yellow. The concentrated form of the commercial product, which contains 70% of the active substance, translates into an advantageous economic aspect by reducing the costs of storage and transport.

The anionic nature of the product affects the synergistic effect with nonionic, amphoteric or anionic surfactants in the final formulations. This synthetic equivalent of SULFOROKAnol L370/1 is characterized by a very low critical concentration of micellisation (cmc), resulting in high effectiveness even in a small concentration. Like alkyl ethers based on natural alcohol, SULFOROKAnol L370 has good cleaning, emulsifying and foaming properties, generating high and stable foams. These numerous advantages make the product work well in Personal Care formulas and detergent formulas. The product does not contain preservatives, it is readily biodegradable, thus meets the criteria of Directive No. 648/2004 concerning detergents and cosmetics.The above-average foaming and wetting properties, as well as resistance to acidic and alkaline environments make SULFOROKAnol L370 a component of hard surface cleaning agents and car chemistry products. It is also used in extinguishing agents.SULFOROKAnol L370 is used in the construction industry as a component of aerated concrete admixtures. The use of the product in this application increases the frost resistance of the concrete. Due to its high detergency, the product is used as an ingredient in tanning formulations, mainly for washing and degreasing skins.The emulsifying properties and the effective lowering of the surface tension by this product make it suitable for use in emulsion polymerization processes, particularly for the production of aqueous polymeric dispersions, e.g. acrylic or acetate-vinyl, ensuring appropriate emulsification of the monomers in the reaction mixture.
